Neighborhood Watch Meeting

By Admin - 11/19/2008 There will be a Neighborhood Watch meeting at the Antwerp Township meeting room Wednesday, November 19th @ 7pm. Presenter will be a detective from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department. He will speak specifically about the steps that are taken after a meth lab has been discovered in a home.

Neighborhood Gathering on Sunday, Oct 12 @ 2pm

By Admin - 10/10/2008 Brown Stone residents are invited to attend a neighborhood gathering at Rob & Jodi Nye's home. Their house is located at 48496 Belulah Way and the event begins at 2pm on Sunday, October 12th and runs until 4pm. There will be games, crafts, candy for the kids, refreshments, and you'll be able see Mattawan Fire Department's new ladder truck. See you there!

Neighborhood Watch Meeting Scheduled for Monday, September 29th @ 7pm

By Admin - 9/16/2008 There will be a Brown Stone neighborhood watch meeting on Monday, September 29th @ 7pm. It will be held at the Antwerp Township Hall meeting room. (not the activities center) The subject will be Methamphetamines and community awareness. Let's face it, Methamphetamines and Meth houses are very dangerous and are found in all types of communities. Please set aside this small window of time and connect with others from the Brownstone community. Only by working together will we keep our neighborhood safe.

Important: Criminal Activity in BrownStone

By Admin - 9/3/2008 Around 3:45 a.m. this past Friday (Aug 29th), two teenagers were spotted trying to break in to a car parked in a driveway on Beulah Way. 911 was called and a thorough investigation was made by the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department in collaboration with the Mattawan Police Department. Please remember to keep cars, garages and all house doors locked at all times. Apparently the teens will swipe quickly anything they can find on a path of least resistance.

Summer Update

By Admin - 6/12/2007 After the light turnout for the community meeting on May 16th, it was apparent that the residents of Brown Stone are not ready to transition the oversight of the subdivision to a Board of Directors within the community. The low attendance at the meeting suggests that this issue needs to be put to rest for the time being.

Attention Residents!

Halloween "Trick or Treat" Information
